Grown on the clay-limestone hillsides of Bergerac, Château Perrou-La-Baragoile is the estate's flagship red, carrying the richness of the Périgord terroir into the glass. It is born of a masterful blend of 55% Merlot, 30% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The nose offers rich aromas dominated by ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, accompanied by fine spice notes and a touch of lightly toasted oak.

The palate is smooth and balanced, where ripe dark fruit meets supple tannins and a gentle oak influence. The finish is elegant and long.

It pairs beautifully with grilled beef, roast lamb, duck breast, game and mature cheeses. Available in the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 vintages, it will keep for 5–8 years under optimal cellar conditions.
